The Graduate School of Communication offers several Master's programmes to prepare students for a career in the broad field of Communication Science.
Internationally orientated and consistently high ranked, the Graduate School of Communication offers a stimulating learning environment to prepare you for a career in the field of Communication Science. You will focus on the dynamics and effects of media and communication in society and choose a Master's track to specialise in one of four areas:
Corporate Communication
Entertainment Communication
Persuasive Communication
Political Communication
During the first semester, you will take two specialisation seminars (12 ECTS each) in the track of your choice. In preparation for the Master's thesis, you will also take a methods course (6 ECTS). Adding to an open and informal environment, all seminars are offered in groups with a maximum of 25 participants.
The second semester consists of two elective courses (6 ECTS each), allowing you to either focus further on the area of your Master's track or to broaden your knowledge in another area of Communication Science. Finally, you will conduct and write an individual Master's thesis (18 ECTS) under the individual guidance of a senior staff member.
