De Master Innovatie Management is een uitdagende opleiding die studenten voorbereidt op het leiden van innovatieprocessen en het managen van verandering in verschillende organisaties en sectoren.
De opleiding draagt wetenschappelijke theorieën, instrumenten en technieken aan om innovaties binnen en tussen bedrijven te beheersen en te verbeteren. In deze opleiding leer je hoe je de opgedane kennis kunt gebruiken bij het doen van onderzoek naar innovatiemanagement en voor het toepassen in de industrie. Je leert manieren om de huidige innovatieprestatie van een bedrijf te analyseren en te verklaren in termen van kwaliteit, kosten en tijd. Ook leer je hoe je deze prestaties kunt verbeteren door het herontwerpen van innovatieprocessen. Je zult bovendien ervaren wat het is om zelf onderzoek te verrichten, om nieuwe inzichten op te doen en je opgedane kennis toe te passen in de vele projecten die deze masteropleiding kent. Als afgestudeerde van deze masteropleiding ben je goed voorbereid op een breed scala aan functies en loopbanen. Zo kun je gaan werken als product development, innovatie manager, inkoop- en voorraadmanager, strategieconsultant of manager van Research & Development allianties. Ook kun je een eigen bedrijf starten of kiezen voor een onderzoekscarrière.
De Master IM op de TU/e is een 2-jarig, voltijd, Engelstalig programma.
